Understanding Your Agent Readiness Level
Your Level is a single number, 1 through 5, that summarizes how AI currently treats your business. Here's what each one means:
How Your Level Is Calculated
Your level combines two things:
- Category Health — the real, technical state of your 6 health categories (crawl access, structured data, AI accuracy, competitive position, content structure, content freshness)
- AI Signal — what AI actually says when asked real buyer questions about you (pricing accuracy, whether it recommends you, how often you're mentioned)
Both need to line up before you advance — good technical setup alone isn't enough if AI still gets your pricing wrong, and vice versa.
Levels Only Go Up
This is deliberate. Your level is protected from things outside your control — like an AI platform changing its algorithm. A level only drops if:
- You actively block AI crawlers, or
- You remove critical structured data, or
- AI accuracy drops for 3+ consecutive months AND category health declines at the same time
Even then, you get a 30-day warning first. External AI platform changes alone never trigger a drop.
