Connecting Your Website

AEOBot lets you publish articles directly to your website with one click. This guide shows you how to connect your site.

Supported Platforms

Connect a WordPress Site

Go to Connected Sites

Click Connected Sites in the sidebar, then click Connect Website.

Select WordPress

Choose WordPress as your platform and enter your site URL (e.g., https://yourblog.com).

Enter Credentials

Enter your WordPress login username and an Application Password. See the WordPress Publishing guide for detailed instructions on creating Application Passwords.

Test and Save

Click Test Connection to verify everything works, then click Save.

Connect a Custom App

For non-WordPress sites, use the Custom API integration. You add a small endpoint to your app, and AEOBot sends article data to it.

Managing Connected Sites

Go to Connected Sites in the sidebar to:

  • View all connected sites
  • Test existing connections
  • Remove a website
  • Set a default publishing target
Tip: Connect your website before writing articles so you can publish with one click right after generating content.

Which platforms does AEOBot support?

AEOBot supports WordPress natively with Application Passwords, and any other platform via the Custom API integration.

Can I connect multiple websites?

Yes. You can connect multiple websites and choose which one to publish to for each article.

Is my website data secure?

Yes. AEOBot uses Application Passwords for WordPress (not your main password) and secret tokens for Custom API. All connections use HTTPS encryption.
